Astrology in Ancient Rome

Astrology was practiced in Rome as far back as the 3rd Century BC. The ancient concept of “As Above, So Below,” the subject of our first program, found practical applications in the Roman empire.
Rome developed systems of law and order that are still used to this day, from the construction of roads to civic planning and sanitation, from state education to the political system itself. Throughout the establishment of these pillars of civilization, astrology could be found advising and directing the “movers and makers” of the Roman empire.
Douglas Baker was the world’s leading exponent of the New or Esoteric Astrology. He spent 40 years developing a revolutionary and inspired approach to astrology that will launch this ancient art into the new millennium and beyond. (28 min.)
