Rick Levine’s November 2022 Astrology Forecast: NO HOLDING BACK
So much of November is dependent on the Taurus Lunar Eclipse on November 8, amplifying the significance of Election Day in the USA. We are at the final bend in a long and winding road that has been a wild ride for several years. However, all forecasting techniques fall short with the specter of the Full Moon Eclipse that conjuncts unpredictable Uranus, opposes trickster Mercury, and squares karmic Saturn. Only retrospectively will we be able to understand this great shift.
Although we cannot yet see into our collective future, we are about to run headlong into a reality check that may reveal more than we want to know. In any event, we will look back at November as a point of no return. As a mixture of molten copper and tin (both malleable metals) cools into the alloy bronze, we will not be able to undo what is done this month. Our immediate future is not yet written in stone, but the events of November will set us on a definite course.
We are wise to look at the big picture, for the astrology of November is best understood as the last gasp of the Saturn-Uranus squares of 2021 and Saturn’s final act of crystallization that began with its conjunction with Pluto in January 2020. Saturn has come within less than a degree to its square with Uranus, symbolizing a conflict between the old and the new, the conservative and the progressive, the safety of the status quo and the unknown of radical change.
Complicating matters, we may feel anxious while normally speedy Mars is retrograde in restless Gemini for the rest of the year, heightening our sense of urgency while delaying completion of projects in motion. We are further disturbed by the holding pattern of superhero Mars as it squares confusing Neptune, exact for the second of three times on November 19. Thankfully, we may find satisfaction (if not resolution) when retrograde Mars trines hard-working Saturn on November 28.
The entry of Venus, Mercury, and the Sun into visionary Sagittarius on November 15-22 opens a doorway to a better future if we are willing to accept the challenges we must face. There are positive and innovative forces at work as Venus, Mercury, and the Sun trine retrograde Jupiter mid-month, prior to Jupiter’s direct turn on November 23. The Sagittarius New Moon, also on the 23rd, is confirmation that the future is calling with greater insistence than ever.
Nevertheless, it is difficult to separate out the facts from the fiction because the signal-to-noise ratio is so out of balance. The inner planets are creating a lot of static all month, making us work harder for each glimpse of meaning. Thankfully, this month is an astrological crescendo; if we can keep reality in line with our visions, the noise should begin to settle down by the end of the month. Meanwhile, all we can do is participate in the unfolding as best we can. This is a critical moment and this opportunity to create a positive, long-term impact on our collective trajectory won’t come again.
